On another note, I had taken my denim dungarees to the alterations shop the other day, and will have them done by this Thursday. I'm excited to wear it! Fourth of July weekend is coming up and I'll be heading down to SoCal once again. Jenny is coming in from Sweden this week and I can't wait to see her. It's been too long since we've seen each other. So, there will be a lot of catching up. =)

Music Listening: Edith Piaf

Out and About:

This weekend was fun! Went to see the movie, Bad Teacher, which I thought was pretty hysterical...if you like sarcasm. At age 39, Cameron Diaz still looks great!

On Sunday, we went to Golden Gate Park for the free concert Alice 97.3FM was hosting. I believe there were about 15,000 people there. It was packed! I've never been to GGP before, and I definitely want to check it out again.The concert performances were great, especially One Republic. ;-)

Out and About:

Lately, it has been quite warm in the bay area...I mean, beach weather warm. That's pretty crazy.

This was a couple weekends ago when Josh's family from Guam came to visit. We decided to take a little stroll to Pier 39 Fisherman's Wharf. We had some clam chowder in a bowl and fed the seagulls some crackers. It was a frenzy! 

Speaking of the beach, I've been yearning to go to Santa Cruz. Yes! That should be my next little weekend getaway.

So, remember that picture I posted of Alexa Chung with her denim dungarees a few weeks back? Here's the photo again:

Well, I told you I'd make my own! It wasn't so bad at all. The only problem is, it's left unfinished because I do not have a sewing machine in hand. I'll have to go to an alterations or borrow a friend's. After it's all done, I'll post up the final end product. Can't wait to wear it to the summer concerts in the bay area. =)

Newly appointed Creative Director, Clare Waight Keller, steps up the plate after predecessor, Hannah MacGibbon. For Chloe Resort, Keller apt for a classy Parisian bourgeois mixed with a SoCal sense of ease. I adore the collection, but I can do without the buckled up heels, which looks like a cross between mary janes and gladiators. It doesn't quite suit my fancy. Perhaps it does for you? What do you think?
