Found these cute Balenciaga inspired clutches at Kurios, a local boutique in Santa Cruz, last weekend. I don't remember the price, but I know they were inexpensive. =)

Here's a sneak peek of my costume for Halloween this year. I wanted to do the Pan Am stewardess but I wouldn't had the time to put it all together before the festivities. I've been quite busy lately. So, a kitty cat it is!!

By the way, that's the original iPhone 1G that I'm using to take this photo. It still works, surprisingly. ;) But I will be reserving my 4S in a few hours here. Hallelujah!! Finally an upgrade! =)

This past weekend, I went to Santa Cruz with Kali and boy, was it nostalgic! Good times in my old neighborhood.

I did some online shopping recently and I'm happy with my purchases. The pumps were on sale and I had to have them! (comes in different colors too). The Zara dress I had tried on at the SF store, but unfortunately there were none my size, so I ordered it online. (wonderful!) Zara does not charge for shipping & delivery for standard or at-store pickup. The best, and my favorite part of it is that it ships within 2-4 business days. Green, green, green!! My favorite color! Solid colors, high platform wedges, and I absolutely love the leather totes! Now, those wedges can definitely make a 5'3" (and a quarter) kind of gal like myself a bit taller, don't you think? =)

My favorites from Acne Spring 2012 RTW. I love the tassels on the shoes and the interesting take on the heels, giving it a masculine/feminine touch. Structured lines with feminine qualities. Love!

Who's your style icon? From the past: I love Francoise Hardy's effortless and timeless casual elegance and Bianca Jagger's unapologetic rock n' roll glamour. From today: I love Diane Kruger and Erin Wasson. 

How would you describe your sense of style? I guess I would call my style stiletto hippie or bourgie bohemian ;) I'm a California girl so I like laidback and unfussy looks but I also like a bit of glitz. I live in jeans, tees and short casual dresses but I also love my sky high heels and 'whole paycheck' handbags.

What are your top favorite items in your closet? I don't know if these are my top favorites, but they certainly get the most wear: Vivienne Westwood black metallic cropped jacket, Sergio Rossi cage toe platform heels, American Eagle Outfitters denim cutoff shorts and oversized Navajo print cardigan.

And what is on your wish list? Oy, there are too many to list but my wish list item of the day is a pair of Isabel Marant fringe boots in white. And a permanent fixture on my wish list are vintage Chanel handbags.
