Went out with friends last weekend for some down time and drinks. My friend, Kali, just got a new place across from Lake Merritt in Oakland. Beautiful views! And walking distance to bars and restaurants. Not bad at all!

Playful Days

Who better to pull off anything, literally, than Alexa Chung?! I use to sport dungarees/overalls back in the hay days (junior high/high school). It was the 90s, what can I say?! =P I'm glad they are coming back into trend again. They are simple, comfortable, and effortless chic, if you know how to wear it. I have an old pair of short dungarees from Gap and am thinking about turning them into a skirt like the one Alexa is wearing. It is a DIY project in the works. =)

It's finally warming up these days. I've been feeling a little bit groggy the past few days, but I'm much better now. =)

This past weekend, I was in the city shopping for a dress to wear to my friend's wedding, but unfortunately, I found none of liking. Or that I was satisfied with to say the least. It's in August, so I do have some time. Any suggestions on where to shop in the bay area? Or online?

Though I didn't find a dress, I did manage to purchase a few things. I'll post them up on another day. Till then, have a wonderful rest of the week!

I'm finally back from my mini vacay in LA! It was a pleasure to have hungout with friends in Hollywood Hills, Venice Beach, and Orange County. After a long ride home, I'm tired and exhausted. But such a fun weekend it was!  =)

Now, time to catch up with my Game of Thrones on HBO!
